The new band hit the road on the weekend for a whirlwind mini 3-date tour under various pseudonyms like 'Reg Noodle and the Luck Monsters' in Norwich on Friday , 'Willing and Able' in London on Thursday, then there first proper show as the new as yet unannounced name saturday at the Stainsby Festival in Derbyshire. We would like to thank: Tony from the Winelight club, Norwich. Natalie from Feed the Monkey, London. Chris, Celeste and all the Stainsby Crew including EFX AUDIO at Stainsby. Thanks for all the support and belief. Lastly thanks to the amazing reception we recieved at all three shows. A special mention goes out to the Stainsby massive. Thank you we love you all...
The band are back in the studio now untill Early October to fine tune things for the official debut stuff. Untill then...

The new band has taken on a life of its own. Lee will be seasing all solo activity while he puts together the finishing touches on the growing line-up. It is a complate departure from the old material and fresh clean slate. The name has been chosen, the material done and being perfected. All very secret for now. Watch this space!!!

We would like to welcome MARC ROS (25) from Holland, to the new band on drums. He is an amazing power house of a drummer with 12 years in the stool and a quite impressive CV. Things are sounding great already with the other elements on the way. We'll keep you posted!....

So its been a while since the last bit of news, Lee has had his head down getting the 'Goldhawk Sessions' up and running, the nights are going from strength to strength. He will be back in the studio soon for another new record, putting a new band together and getting out on the road again. The BBC Radio 2 session was an excellent experience with some showcases with them in the pipeline. Watch this space, its all go as usual....

BBC RADIO 2 NEW TALENT FINALIST!!
Lee is a finalist in the BBC Radio 2 new talent songwriting contest with SCORCHED SKY from the new record. It is in conjunction with The British Academy of Songwriters. After trauling through over 4500 nationwide entries they picked 60 finalists from around the country to go on to four separate 2-day master classes hosted by Radio 2 and BACS.
they will then pick a winner from each materclass based on an assesment of every aspect of songwriting. Lee is particluarly pleased and blown away to be a finalist as it is based purely on songwriting, the thing he is viciously passionate about. More details will be posted when we have them. The masterclass is Feb 10-11...

New record coming...honest
The new record that is as yet untitled is nearing completion. Lee hasn't fallen off the face of the earth! Had a near fatal equiptment failer which put things back nearly three weeks. Its now going to be a bit of a rush to make the mastering date in a week! Lets hope its all worthwhile.
After completion he's going to be be hitting the acoustic circuit in a big way around the capital to and knock everyone off the stage, Darren will be going along on four string honours.
Lee will be putting the band on ice for the moment and concentrating on the solo stuff. If the songs can't stand up on there own then no amount of noise will sugar coat it. ''I'm getting bored of the waiting around and the build up stage. Can't wait to get out there again and start kicking some arse'' Will keep you posted...

Things have been reasonably quiet recently, a few low key shows for the band and some solo bits and bobs while Lee completes his new EP set for release in the Autumn. Some unmastered rough demo's are up so you can see the sort of thing he has been up to in his home studio. Everything played, produced, mixed, written, wacked, smacked, scraped and drunk by Lee with Darren expected to put his double bass parts on iminently. There is Tenor guitar, acoustic guitar, djembe, Hang Drum, cymbals, tambourine, plastic bottles, Voices, singing, humming, claps, wooden spoons, pint glasses (emptied of course), tables, trains, drunk people, rain and anything else he can get his hands on.

The boys have been working hard for the last couple of months now getting the new set together. The debut show was a good but there is still yet more to come. Things are changing all the time and they are getting set to start small and try and hit every pokey little venue imaginable to get there live chops tight before the real assault begins. The summer will be full of rehearsing, playing sweaty little holes anywhere they can find and getting there shit together for some studio time planned for the end of summer. If you can get out to a show , sweet, if not, you suck.....

Sorry the new stuff is taking so long and the gig list is so sparse, trust me I'll be getting my shit together when I find a home and go musical free diving again. A new chapter is just starting and as hard as it is to close the last one and say goodbye to things I have still been clinging to, it is time to go.

Centre. Recording of the demo's is still ongoing, sounding good so far and recording will start in January amidst the long awaited move to London, expect stripped down acoustic based intensity, big heavy melodies
